Dr. Mohd Harris Bin Mohd Ismail

Mohd Harris is regarded as BIM (Building Information Modelling) Expert by many parties in Malaysia and abroad. He has been appointed as ASEAN BIM Speaker and trainer by Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyor (RICS) for the year 2017 – 2018.

His involvement in the construction industry has spanned over a period of more than 23 years since 1995 in various construction projects, from marine construction to the construction of residential and commercial buildings, roads and highways, government buildings, including Sepang Formula 1 and the upgrading of the Iconic Penang Hospital.

In 2011 he was appointed as the Deputy Director of IBS Center at the Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB), where he has managed to introduce and implement some key initiatives in promoting IBS into the industry. His expertise was further sought by CIDB to lead the Construction IT Dept., which focused on the development of Building Information Modelling (BIM) methodology to the construction industry in Malaysia from 2013 - 2016, where he has succeeded to bring BIM into the industry through various programs and further to the development of initiatives in the Construction Industry Transformation Program (CITP). He left CIDB in March 2016 to pursue his high interest in IBS and BIM through consultancy and real project implementation.

His combined expertise in IBS and BIM has brought him to the hybrid of both with the launch of HyperBIM in 2016 and his renown module of BIM Contract and Specification Training, where it is the FIRST and only training available in Malaysia. A graduate in Civil Engineering and Construction Management from UTM and UiTM, and Harris is also a PhD holder in architecture (BIM) from UKM.

Mokhzal Bin Osman

Project Director

Mokhzal has spent almost 10 years throughout his career in the area of construction and construction technology. Started off his career in 2009 as a Civil Engineer in several property development and construction companies in Malaysia and Singapore, he later turned into becoming a specialist in the construction technology, focusing on BIM implementation.

In 2011 he successfully contributed to the implementation of BIM through a few projects in Malaysia and Singapore through his expertise in BIM-related software for designing and coordinating the whole construction project.

As a young chap in the industry, he has shown a remarkable contribution in supporting the nation’s interest in implementing BIM in the construction project. Among his involvement in the multi-million construction projects in Malaysia are PJH project Parcel F, KL Eco City and SCACC Complex of Hospital Kuala Lumpur.

As a certified professional for a few BIM-related software, Autodesk Revit, Navisworks ,Synchro Professional, Mokhzal’s expertise is an asset to Greenwave to support the IBS-BIM hybrid initiative in bringing the best for the nation.
